MINA Chemical Enterprise Limited is the leading distributor of industrial chemicals in Ghana. MINA is engaged in the supply and distribution of Industrial Chemicals, Pharmaceutical Raw Materials, and Food Chemicals of a wide variety to large, medium, and small-scale industries like Mining, Oil Refining, Food & Beverages, textiles & Printing, Breweries, Pharmaceuticals among others.

MINA Chemical Enterprise Limited was incorporated in February 1987. Its team of hardworking and dedicated personnel is headed by Mr. Emmanuel Gyimah, a graduate in Administration (B.Sc. Adm.), with an Executive Master’s in Business Administration, a Chartered Accountant, ICA GH., FCCA, and a Professional Marketing Consultant (DipM ACIM).

It was established on the premise of representing and supplying products of its principals, Chemproha, now Brenntag Nederland Export in the Netherlands, a giant in the distribution of Industrial Chemicals in Europe and the world over.

The Company also represents two (2) other Chemical distributors in Asia namely Tianjin Tiankai Chemical Industries Import & Export Corporation and Sree Rayalaseema Hi-strength Hypo Limited. MINA also distributes products of BASF of Germany.

With over three (3) decades of experience in the importation and distribution of Industrial Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Raw Materials both in Ghana and in the West-Africa sub-region, Mina Chemicals has firmly established itself as the leading distributor in the Ghanaian Industrial Chemical Market.

Management

Managing Director

Emmanuel Gyimah

He is the current Chairman of AGI Chemicals Sub-sector and AGI Council Member. He is also the AGI representative on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Governing Board.

Before assuming the position of Managing Director, Mr. Gyimah worked as a research person with Chemproha Chemical Export B.V. Holland. In 1987 he joined the Ministry of Education as an Accountant at the Project Management Unit.

Between 1989 and 1994 he worked as the Director of Finance and Administration at MINA Chemical Enterprise Limited.

He was also a Consultant with Price Waterhouse and Associates.

Sales & Marketing Manager

Samuel Oladele

Mr. Samuel Oladele is the Sales/Marketing Manager and holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Before assuming this position, Mr. Oladele was the Manager in charge of Advertisement and Regional Operations at the New Times Corporation and he comes with a lot of marketing experience.
